Kosovo's presidency has announced that at a meeting held with European Union emissary Miroslav Lajcak, president Vjosa Osmani has discussed recent developments in the dialogue process with Serbia.
The report reportedly stressed that implementation of the agreement should be in line with the spirit of the Kosovo Constitution.
“At the meeting, the latest developments in the dialogue process with Serbia were discussed, with which President Osmani reiterated that the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to a process that contributes to long-term peace, security and lasting prosperity in the region. President Osmani confirmed that the annex of implementation of the basic agreement agreed on in Brussels should be in the spirit of principles adopted in the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, knowingly, the invisibility of sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutionality and functionality of the state of Kosovo.”, the Presidency's announcement said.
On the other hand, in the announcement it becomes known that President Osmani has said that regarding this agreement, the final word means the Kosovo Assembly.
“President Osmani has said that Kosovo remains a constructive party in the dialogue process and co-ordinated with its partners, while it has reiterated that the final word about an agreement should say the Assembly of Kosovo in line with constitutional procedures.” has been disclosed in the announcement.
