The new law drastically reduces wages to military attachors

The military attaché is a mission and mandate of special importance in the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), so only colonels and army lieutenant colonels can become.

As such, they serve in the United States of America, England, Germany, France, Croatia, Turkey, Albania, and Slovenia in an unresident way.

For representation of Kosovo's dignified representation, their salary has been such until a month ago.

But these military attachés that have been paid 3 thousand and 200 euros, under the new law, are drastically lowering their salaries.

588 euros is the amount that has come up in their accounts this month, nearly as much as is a civil servant's salary at foreign embassies.

The cofficiency of the attaché with the new wage law is 5.8. Even television teaches that the same ones are unclear about the continuation of the service, while considering the possibility of return, the degrees they have in Kosovo are paid over 1,000 euros.

Amateurism and absurdity are considering this grouping the former KSF commander, Kadri Kastracti, who says that the repossession of military attaché often exceeds that of ambassadors around the world.

Because the military attaché, there are various needs, works on expanding contacts, military security co-operation training and various exercises that are a representative of the Kosovo Army outside Kosovo. I'm going to call that an amateurism of those who made this law”, Kadri Kastrati, former KSF commander, for RTV Dukagjini.

Kastrati urgently calls for the return of the preliminary salary, as in countries like the United States and others, survival in these conditions is impossible.

The government comes up with an explanation that these military will be returned to their salary and will be compensated for the months they received in short wages. Imagine that an attack in the United States, which costs six dollars worth of water, he takes a salary of 588 euros is unacceptable”, has clarified Kadri Kastrati, former KSF commander.

Even security expert Drizan Shala estimates that salaries for military attachés cannot be adjusted even with an administrative regulation or instruction as mentioned because, according to him, would lose credibility of the Law for the Salat.

So any other mechanism, whether doctors or nurses, can require that we have a change through an Administrative Guide or a new regulation, but this falls into disrepute with the basic element of the wage law. I think the wage law should be completely revised, and the additions, whether for KSF or the Kosovo Police, as are the additions of risklessness, but also for diplomatic or international missions”, Drizan Shala, the expert on security issues, said.

Of the more than 60 embassies and consulates the size of the Republic of Kosovo in the world, there are only seven military attachors.
