In Kosovo, meanwhile, the day finds teachers less than satisfied with working conditions, while expressing disappointment even with the value of the wage cofficiency.

Meanwhile, during the day it marks activities honouring 7-March, where the <x0 price will be divided Shaban Jashari”, for the distinguished teacher of the year.

My dear teacher, how I love you! You mean everything to me! I love my teacher, I deeply respect her party. These are the students ' wishes for teachers, who write verses, give flowers and hugs to make teachers feel happy and appreciated on their day. But according to unionists, however, this holiday of teaching finds them unhappy because they have expected more in wage terms.

Education Trade Union Chairman Nundman Jasharaj told Radio Kosovo that no education worker from daybooks to higher education is satisfied with the value of the employer for wages.

And the fun is, we're not happy with the value of the coeficent, we're kind of happy with the cofficiency as such, because they've put education in a better position. We have estimated that it is better to have a law that at the moment brings a modest increase, than to happen as early as the previous time the law returns to zero and then have commitments and clashes to have a new constitutional law, he said.

Jasharaj, said the teachers still face other challenges, where, according to him, the next battle will be meeting the conditions of teaching work.

My former colleagues will continue the battle for knowledge, but under conditions that do not resemble the 21st century. Our schools are beautiful on the outside, but inside they're very empty because they lack contemporary tools. Educators would feel better along with students if they had tools like laptops, Internet connections, projectors, etc., to make learning units more interesting, as they still develop their learning by foam and board, with textbooks that are not rarely criticized for reason and that do not correspond with curriculum”, he said.

Meanwhile, Education Minister Arberie Nagavci, long ago told Radio Kosovo that with the Law of Salaries, the situation in terms of teachers' salaries has been first adjusted.

“We have seen in the Law of Salaries and therefore in the Budget Law, for the first time growth for good teacher performance, which I believe will help improve the quality of teaching, which is in the interest of the very teachers to successfully realise wage growth. If we look at it in total, given the number of teachers, it is one of four categories that have undergone the most significant growth in the Law of the Salaries”, she said.

On March 7, 1887, the first Albanian teacher opened in Korca, where her first teacher and director was Pandeli Sotiri. This event was a major victory for the Albanian people, and since that day, March 7 is celebrated as Teacher's Day.
