Two days before the Ohrid meeting, Haziri has said that this agreement will not support the LDK.
Haziri has estimated that the deal does not deserve LDK support.
The Ohrid resolution is under pressure from the international factor, but also from our peoples. The LDK has a clear stance and is white. Dialogue has no option, it must develop and the parties must be pragmatistic. We've wanted not to hold this back from the main goal of which is at any cost mutual recognition, to insist that it has recognition and that it has broader impacts and shuts up wounds. The elephant in the room is the association of municipalities. For us, the agreement has not brought expectations and has four problems, and as such it does not deserve LDK support. Kosovo Prime Minister must work for an internal dialogue”, he has said in an interview for the “Balkan Update” show at ABC News.
According to him, the EU Asociation Plan has gone beyond Brussels' agreements.
“Ohri must not fail. The fear of all is that it will be complicated as the status of Association has gone beyond the 2013 agreement, but has violated beyond what has been granted in 2013. The prime minister is in a difficult situation, because he must be creative, and he has to make proposals, which preserves the character of Kosovo's constitutional organisation and provides security for internal normalisation, because we are ahead of holding the elections of Serb municipalities in the north and an institutional vacuum is caused there”, Haziri said.
