Germany has welcomed yesterday's agreement between Kosovo and Serbia and has congratulated the parties on this “progress”.
Stephen Hebestreet, spokesman for the Federal Government of Germany, wrote on Twitter that everything now remains in implementation.
“Congratulations on this progress to establish relations between Serbia and Kosovo on a new basis! Now it's all about taking the lead in maintaining and implementing what has been agreed on. We will be on your side to fulfill your European perspective! ”, Hebestreet wrote.
Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, also distributed this, writing that the rapid “progress is needed.
“Actually, without delay we now need rapid progress on all issues agreed on”, the German ambassador wrote.
