Civil State official in Gjakova fines 2 thousand and 600 euros

The act against the accused Leka was announced Monday by the chairman of the court, Sultan Dobraj, reports “Justice Vought”.
According to the indictment, the accused Leka has been sentenced to prison terms during the six-month term, which, with the consent of the accused, has been fined in the amount of 2 thousand and 600 euros, which must be paid in the three-month term.
Likewise, the same has been pronounced a supplementary sentence - a ban on the practice of work during 2 years.
The Court has announced that there has been an annulment of the person's recording Sokol Tolaj in the civil registration books.
The accused, too, has been obliged to pay the amount of 50 euros on behalf of the judiciary, and on behalf of the funding for compensation of crime victims, 50 euros.
Therefore, the parties have the right to complaint in the 15-day term.
Similarly, the accused Leka, at the March 1, 2023 session, had pleaded guilty to the offense.
Otherwise, in the act of Basic Prosecution in Gjakova it is said that Mehmet Leka, on October 12, 2018, in the quality of the administrative official at the Civil State Office in Mollic, of Gjakova, using his official duty or authority has not met and exceeded his pre-lawed competencies.
According to the indictment, in order to bring an illegal benefit to himself, contrary to Law 04/L-215, Article 29 and Administrative Guide 052017, has put the person Sokol Tola from the village of Gjakova, where she has made the generation of her personal number, with what she has thus enabled her file equipment from the Civil State office.
In accordance with the indictment, following request from the British Embassy in Tirana to the Gjakova municipality for verification of data for Sokoli, it has resulted that such a person is not a resident, namely he is not a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, nor has his parents A.T. and N.T. have been registered.
With these actions, it was accused of committing criminal work “The use of official position or authority” by Article 422, paragraph 2 points 2.1 of the Criminal Code.
