The death toll in Turkey rose to at least 3.549 people have announced Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan's report to Sky News, Periscopi broadcast.
In Syria, 1,602 victims were reported.
The earthquake in Turkey and Syria has affected 23 million people, including 1.4 million children, an official from the World Health Organization has said, writes Sky News.
Syria's humanitarian needs are greater than Turkey's capacities to respond to the crisis, Addelheid Marschang from the WTO said.
The World Health Organisation said it is sending emergency supplies, as regions close to Syria's border are affected by the effects of the earthquake, civil war and the outbreak of a cholera. /Periscopi/
