But, despite the European plan agreement, Haradinaj has not spared criticism of Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
” Thank you for the US's extraordinary commitment to supporting Kosovo in all stages of freedom and statehood. The American contribution was of vital importance to the acceptance of the European Union's proposal for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations, which is both security and prosperity for the country.
This proposal has received my and the AAK's support, because we have estimated that it marks an important chapter for recognition of Kosovo's yöuré. I appreciate this has been the best possible. This support is done exclusively for the country and without any electoral calculations.
These are vital moments for Kosovo's future, so political unity is required, which in no circumstances can be understood as support for the individual.
We will always have time to discuss the resources of the prime minister and his catastrophic governance in the internal plan. Of course, much work remains to be done so that this entire important process does not deteriorate and be successfully finalised.
This requires caution and responsibility, to clear up and address all possible public opinion concerns involving annexes and agreements that have not yet been made public.
I am confident in the United States and Western allies that they will help us, as well as today, to conclude the agreement guaranteeing Kosovo independent and sovereign state and with clear Euro-Atlantic integration prospects”.
