According to Bieber, Vuciq is exploiting in his favour the international conviction to remain in power.
“He is using international priorities for his interests”, Bieber has said, voicing fears that the Balkans could enter a new phase of stabilisation.
He has estimated that currently the US and the EU are more important for Serbia to reach a compromise with Kosovo and impose sanctions on Russia than Serbian domestic policies.

According to the Balkan connoisseur, however, bad days can come when after important issues have been resolved and when the West turns its attention to internal reforms.
He, talking about television N1, has said that without internal democratisation, Serbia will not be able to enter the EU.
Commenting on the Franco-German proposal, he has said this step cannot be the final solution, but only one step in the middle. According to him, Vucic has accepted the proposal in the hope the other side (Kosovo) will not accept it.
It would be ideal for him to fail the proposal because of the Kosovo Government's stance. That's not gonna happen. Accepting the proposal has been his way to place responsibility at Pristina”, he has stressed.
Bieber has estimated that at this time, recognition from Serbia is not very important for Kosovo, but recognition by the five European Union member states. According to him, this would enable Kosovo to become part of the EU and NATO without Serbia's recognition.
However, Bieber has spoken with reservations about the possibility of reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, based on the Franco-German proposal.
