Pristina Chief Prosecutor: A Serbian prosecutor is being taken over by Liridona Ademij

Pristina Chief Prosecutor Kujtim Munishi has spoken about the murder of Liridona Ademij.

He stressed that the investigations have taken the right lead, but added that they could last up to two years.

Munich stressed at Euronews Albania that the case is being handled by a Serbian prosecutor, after the previous prosecutor delivered the case himself.

“The investments have taken the right direction and the work that has been done so far is successful. I can't say exactly how much time this event will take specifically, but for such investigations and files it may take up to two years it's not even legally envisioned. Investigations have reached a certain point, but I don't have a precise date for their completion and I can't share details about what we've discovered so far because of the investigative secret. I can assure you that all leads are being investigated that can lead to the complete whiteness of the” case.

I cannot say whether there will be other people who will be accompanied or arrested for this event that shook public opinion. As for the prosecutor of the case, it is true that she is Serb and is investigating the case alone. If there's going to be any need for a team to grow, this will certainly happen”.
