President Vjosa Osmani has held a meeting with LDK chairman Lumir Abdijku, where, as the Presidency reports, they have discussed recent developments in the country, and specifically, the draft state of the majority Serb municipalities' association.
The presidency reports that at the meeting, Osmani “has announced Mr. Obadiah for developments in the field of security and foreign policy”.
“in this context, President Osmani has thanked all opposition subjects for supporting security institutions in dealing with the aggression of Serbia”, the report said.
“Furthermore, President Osmani with Mr. Abdixhiku has discussed the Association Bill and in this context, has reaffirmed that the Constitutional Court is the institution that should make the assessment of constitutionality, led by the principle of independence and professionalism”, the presidency reports on it.
Abdixhiku “has announced the president regarding the LDK's concerns regarding the contents of the Draftstatti and have discussed possibilities for dealing with these concerns so that differences cannot be allowed that they can undermine the internal functioning of the Republic of Kosovo”.
The event for the meeting has been sent to other opposition subjects. The presidency institution is constantly open to co-ordination with parties and institutions on issues of national importance”, the report said.
Under this year's consultations, the presidency says that “sides meetings with heads of institutions and political parties, President Osmani will also hold meetings with representatives of non-US communities, civil society and the media”.
