Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu has said that Kosovo is a temporary project and without full identity, because according to him Kosovo is still in uncertainty with itself with a multiethnic identity. He estimates that joining Albanians in a state creates stability.
Kosovo is under constant threat from Serbia, and if it were not for the threat from Serbia, I would not even see Kosovo as a temporary project”, Aliu said at RTK Prime.
He stressed that uniting Albanians would bring stability because according to him Kosovo cannot be based on the presence of KFOR.
When we talk about long-term and lasting solutions, we cannot be based on KFOR's presence today, because it is unknown how things are going to go, and with the risk from Serbia the best solution and certainly for stability is unit”, Aliu said
He stressed that the “union alone creates stability in the Balkans, under constant threat from Serbia. Kosovo as alone will always be endangered. I'm not saying we can do it, we can mobilize well, strengthen ourselves and fight against them. But unfortunately we'll be forced to be mobilized and security-oriented so we can handle it. Thus, joined by Albania, the situation faced by current Serbia, which has always open claims on Kosovo, is the always option”, Aliu said.
According to him, as long as Serbia institutionalises Kosovo Serbs for its own purposes, then our society will not be multiethnic, but multiethnic, but multiethnic. The “Syniming of Zajednica is that within Serb municipalities it be one-ethnic society, so Serb, while outside them multiethnic and Serbian society”, Aliu said.
The minister said multiethnic society and association cannot have. Aliu stated that Albanians have the right to live together, and with that also the confrontation with any situation facing Serbia would be stronger.
