In house arrest, Berisha wishes New Year: Albania lost much this year, I want to deliver message of hope

The JKKO decided yesterday, December 30th, the security measure “house arrest” for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. The latter is not allowed to communicate with others, but will be repeatedly controlled by a police officer.

Today on December 31st, on the night of the shift of years, Berisha wishes all Albanians through a Facebook post.

This magical night of changing years is the night of love, gratitude and hope”, writes Berisha.

In his run, Berisha expresses regret and says Albania has returned to the path of dictatorship.

But, according to him, hope is the magic of this night. He says he will never give up fighting for the truths he believes in Albania.

Dear Albanian citizens and citizens.

Happy New Year 2024, wherever you're celebrating tonight. At your home, at the locals, club, travel, hospitals or detention institutions. This magic night of changing years is the night of love, gratitude and hope.

For most Albanians, gratitude and hope, it may be difficult at the close of a year like the one we are leaving behind.

Albania is no longer the same. Our country has been thrown out of the way of democracy and restored to its former blind path. Dectature! In retrospect Albania lost a lot this year.

The Albanian was eventually split with the free vote. In 2023 we saw an election campaign that started with the tritol, controlled by gangs, and closed with political arrests.

Albania lost pluralism. In 2023 we saw the worst fight against the opposition since Enver Hoxha. The opposition was stolen from the party logo. You were barred from the president's name in the ballot sheet. And their leader was imprisoned, without evidence or evidence.

The opposition was denied the constitutional right to control governance. Albania lost Parliamentism. He lost democracy.

Gratitude and hope can be difficult, in times like these.

This was the year when from darkness we brought the truth to light. Therefore every Democrat tonight should be proud, and every Albanian should have hope. Because every evil brings good.

The 2023 elections were like those of Putin's Russia. But 600,000 Albanians, with their vote, gave us the message that there is hope.

The Albanian Parliament today is like that of Lucasanko Belarus. But 43 ruling deputies delivered the message that there is hope.

The opposition leader was unjustly imprisoned. But it's just inspiration because it shows that the regime is afraid. So I will remind you that Sali Berisha will never give up fighting for the truths he believes in Albania. It will not give up fighting for young men leaving, for abandoned farmers, for forgotten miners, for teachers with lower salaries in the region, for artists who are run by supervisors, for doctors who steal from concessions that only solutions see escape, for intellectuals who have replaced the media with paid phonographs, for former owners who see how property was stolen from the family of ministers, like the strategic investors”, for students it wasn't about the future, for the producers yesterday, and who can be destroyed by the money of the retirees, who don't have the opportunity to buy the poor and the poor, the poor, the poor and the poor.

Because in this new dictatorship, where Albanians are betrayed on all sides, anti-computers, braves and supporters are the only hope for Albania.
