Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev, speaking of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, has said there must be penalties for parties that do not advance commitments made through agreements.
So he said during a joint conference in Pristina with counterpart Vjosa Osmani,
“Let's not forget that Serbia is in the process of negotiations with the European Union for membership. We continue to insist on dialogue as the only way to solve problems, and in parallel the implementation of all agreements signed so far”.
On the other hand, he has said that provocations and the use of violence should be ruled out as a result of which Kosovo Police Sergeant Africa Bunnjak was killed.
The EU must also have an active role in finding the acceptable solution for all sides. For each party involved, there should be punitive measures if commitments” are not implemented, President Rumen Radev has suggested.
