As the JCKKO made its decision on setting up house arrest measures against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha at the same time, Prime Minister Edi Rama held the weekend conference.
Rama reacted, saying it is not the victory of a party arresting someone -- any party.
“) I don't have a comment, I don't deal with someone who's been declared non grata by the U.S. I've said since the beginning. It's never the victory of a party to arrest someone, any party. This is in principle, parties win elections to advance the country, and parties are not combat organisations operating to eliminate opponents.
So I don't see it as a victory for the Socialist Party or as a victory for Erion or Taulent for their insistence on duty.
This has nothing to do with desire, objective, the need to see as victory the fact that everyone is put under pressure and under measures of justice. As against, there is no justice in this country until January 21st.
Without being judged January 21st and without being brought to justice by murderers and magistrates, justice will be morally and insufficient in its power.
January 21st will lay a fixed stone as far as I can and cannot go exercising the state force as a result of abuse by influential people”, Rama said, among other things.
