Bellingham gets the “award Golden Boy” for 2023

Jude Bellingham is officially crowned as the winner of the “Golden Boy” for 2023.

This award is widely considered the most prestigious award in European football for players under 21.

Bellingham was declared winner for 2023 in November, but was officially awarded the award at a ceremony in Turin tonight.

Birmingham-born sensation is not unknown to the “Golden Boy” committee, since he had previously been appointed to the narrow list of both 2021 and 2022, but lost to Barcelona's midfielders, Pedri and Gavi in both those years.

In the 2023 calendar year, however, few can debate the award won by the English midfielder after a fantastic year, which this year completed a 103m-euro transfer to Real Madrid in the passing summer term.

Before that, Bellingham had spent three seasons with Borussia Dortmund, where one of the leading footballers was. Even in the second half of this year, it only increased shape, being impressive with “Los Blancos”

The 20-year-old has 11 goals of his first 13 appearances in La League, plus four to four in the Champions League, bringing his total number to 15 goals from 17 matches.
