Veternik accident: One Impressed

Kosovo University Clinical Centre (QKUK) has provided details about the state of health of people who were injured last night in a traffic accident in Veternik.

CKUK reports that despite the medical assistance offered by doctors, one of the injured has passed away, while another continues to be in serious health.

After one, midnight, five people have requested emergency medical treatment, within the Emergency Clinic, at QKUU, as a result of the traffic accident. Medical teams in the composition of emergency doctors, doctors at other clinics and nurses have immediately offered the necessary medical treatment. Even in spite of the medical staff's maximum efforts, one of those who have been seriously affected has passed away. Another accident continues to be in serious health condition and has moved to further treatment at Central Intensive Medicine - QKUK”, says the announcement.

QKUK, however, suggests that two other accident victims are continuing medical treatment, one at the Torcal Surgery Clinic and the other at the Neurosurgeon.

Otherwise, one person has lost his life, while four others have suffered bodily injuries as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Pristina-Ferizaj Street, more precisely in Veternik.

Kosovo Police spokeswoman Flora Ahmeti has confirmed the news.

“Today around 0100 we have accepted the information that on Pristina Street Ferizaj, there has been a fatal traffic accident. Three vehicles (a parked car) were involved in the accident, while two were on the move”, she said.
Ahmeti made it known that “as a consequence of a serious body injury accident has suffered five people, one of whom has failed to deal with injuries and the same one has died”.
