In this case, Shukri and Rexhepi are tasked with criminal activity “grave murder” and illegal weapons, while Wins Musliu for criminal work “attempted genocide” and illegal weapons restraint, reports the “Bet on Justice”.
Regarding the absence of a lawyer, Rexha, his defender won Musliu said that 20 minutes before the hearing began, the lawyer told him over the phone that he couldn't be present at the hearing without giving him a reason.
Therefore, in the absence of legal conditions for maintaining judicial examination, since the criminal act Musliu is accused of demanding mandatory protection, today's hearing was postponed as the next was scheduled on November 24, 2023.
The court reminded accused Musliu that in the upcoming trial, he should be presented to his defender or announce the court's appointment of any defender on official duty.
Similarly, the judge of the Mentor Hajray case told prosecutor Fetije Bajrami that in the indictment no one was proposed to be invited to represent on behalf of the victim's family. Prosecutor Bajrami, on the other hand, said that a concession has been made in the indictment and now proposed to the court that the representative of the late B.M. family be invited to the next trial.
Otherwise, the indictment in this case has been Agim Musliu, who was handed down procedures after admitting the guiltyness of illegal weapons.
Otherwise, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica on June 19th 2023 has filed charges against Shukri Rexhepi, Rexhepi, Wins Musliu and Agim Musliu.
Shukri and Rexhepi are charged that on July 23, 2022, in the village of Baks, the Skenderaj municipality, in co-ordination, have deprived life of victim B. And the wounded man, Labinoth, Adam. The case is said to have occurred after a plea. Musliu, on the other hand, is accused of deliberately committing the crime of murder, but the same has remained in an attempt, since the same has fired hunting rifles in order to deprive Shukri Rexhepi of his life. And Agim Musliu is said to have held weapons of fire -- hunting rifles contrary to the Law on Guns.
