Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, hosted today's diplomatic representatives of the QUINT states and the European Union, the prime minister's office has announced.
This meeting also discussed Serbia's request for holding Serbian elections on Kosovo territory.
“Discussed on current topics as well as Serbia's request to O The SEU for holding elections on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. The prime minister stressed that on this matter he has already informed O The SEU says that an interstate agreement is needed to organise voting outside Serbia's Interconnection Office in Pristina, and that the demand for such an agreement should come from Serbia as an interested party”.
“He expressed his regret at Serbia's unwillingness for such an agreement that would enable citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who also have Serbia's citizenship to participate in the elections according to best interstate European voting practices abroad”, the ZKM report said.
