German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has mentioned the security situation in Kosovo, specifically the way KFOR presence is extremely necessary to protect against tensions.
Scholz even said NATO, as the guarantor of security in Kosovo, remains united even Germany through its military mission, broadcasts Klonkosova.tv.
” NATO is the guarantor of security in the Western Balkans, through KFOR, in Kosovo. Germany is participating in this mission through military forces. Recent tensions testify to how important their presence is. And KFOR should be in position to react to all developments”.
That statement, Scholz, was issued during the reception he made to NATO Secretary Jens Stoltenberg, who is on visit to Berlin, broadcasts Clankosova.tv.
