The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkov, has declared they have accepted the invitation for the upcoming meeting within the dialogue, which will be held this Thursday in Brussels.
Petkovic at a media conference following the meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and emissar Mirolsav Lajcak, has indicated that at this meeting they will be discussed on the draft resolution of the Serb majority municipalities' Association statute.
“We have accepted Mr. Lajcak's invitation to meet in Brussels in two days, where talks between Belgrade and Pristina will continue. Our side is very prepared and we are going with a special team of experts where we will discuss the text of the Association statute, which is the first concrete step towards forming the Serb Community of the municipality”, Petkovic said.
Days earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi confirmed that the next meeting at the chief negotiators will be held in Brussels on 16 November.
Bislimi said the only agreement with Lajcak in Kosovo was for this meeting, expected to be held.
According to him, there are no more compromises in negotiation, because they are finished.
“We are in the phase of implementing agreements where Kosovo insists that the agreements be implemented in full, without preconditions and without delay, and to ensure that the agreements lead us towards normalisation and not to the esscalation of conflict”, Bislimi declared days ago.
