Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovic will be invited by the EU to continue discussions where they remain on October 26th and aimed at advancing implementation of the Agreement on the Road to Normalisation.
The EU mediator is planning to organise a meeting at the level of chief negotiators soon to continue discussions on advancing the Road Agreement to the remaining normalisation of the informal meeting in support of the dialogue on 26 October”, Stano has told Gazeta Express.
On 26 October in Brussels in the margin of the European Union Council meeting, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Alekasnder Vucic, have met with the leaders of France, Germany, Italy and EU Council President Charles Michel and High Representative Josep Borell and Emsari Miroslav Lajcak.
After the meetings, Kurti and Vuciq have declared they have accepted the EU's proposal for the Association of Serb Majority municipalities, however, Josep Borell in his statement after the meeting has said that neither Kurt nor Vuciq São have been able to accept the EU proposal without setting preconditions.
For the meeting and talks, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Melon have also come out with a common stance calling for Kosovo to start establishing association and for Serbia to give recognition of Kosovo.
Also, the three European leaders have called for Kurti and Vuciq to urgently overcome the differences they have for details under the agreement.
