From today all drivers need to switch tires

Switching wine tires with winter tires in the car for all drivers will start from today and last until March 15th.

All drivers, regardless of weather conditions, should replace summer tires with winter tires and equip themselves with other winter equipment.

The law on road traffic regulations envisions penalties for drivers who during the winter -- the period involving time between November 15th and March 15th -- driving their vehicles without winter equipment.

The driver, who runs the vehicle without winter equipment, is convicted of countertake, with a fine of 40 euros.

Under the Law, it is convicted of impeachment, with fines of 100 to 300 euros, even the legal person or public institution on whose behalf and within whose authorisations the driver has acted.

Although Kosovo's law on road traffic regulations envisions changing summer tires with winter tires from November 15th to March 15th, various international experts say that once temperatures drop less than 7 degrees, you have to set up winter tires to get a better friction, braking and maintenance.

Today's winter tires are not only designed to perform well in the snow but also perform well in cold asphalt.

So you have to remember, at the moment you see your breath (so when the air comes out of your mouth), then it's time to put the winter tires on.
