On the second day of participation at the International Security Forum in Halifax, Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia held a joint meeting with the senator group from the United States, Mrs. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Mr. Petter Welch from Vermont and Mr. Mike Rounds from South Dakota, the Defense Ministry's media office reported.
As stated in the communiqué, Minister Macedonia initially expressed gratitude for the irreplaceable contribution of the United States of America to all phases of our country's statehood, and thanked the senators for their commitment to Kosovo's support.
The topic discussed was also the security situation in Kosovo, especially in the north of the country, following the events of the September 24th terrorist attack in Banjska, with Prime Minister Macedosci informs senators even on the findings emerged after the attack in question”.
