Socialist Party of Serbia Chairman Ivica Dacic has said it is in Serbia's best interest for Aleksandar Vucic to be president and prime minister.
The best solution for Serbia's political stability is not because of me personally, but because of state and national interests”, Dacic said, the Serbian media medium Danas reported.
“With the leadership of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and me prime minister, Serbia can do much. If people want to be prime minister of a strong, stable and secure Serbia, together we can do even better, and we must do more than ever --”, Dacic said.
When it comes to protecting national and state interests, he stressed that <x0 threats to Kosovo” have never been more open, until “has added to Kosovo's independence”.
“We will fight for Serbs to stop suffering, it is time for our people to be wise and win without spilling blood”, he said.
While Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, has said Serbia is expected weeks and months hard because according to him, the aim of the international organised community is to force Serbia to recognise Kosovo's independence, following the visit of primary school students and educators “Sveti Sava” in Zvecan ʹ the Serb-run municipality in the northern part of Kosovo.
He has said that the key issues in the dialogue process for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations under the auspices of the European Union (BE) are not the elections in northern Mitrovica, Zvecan, Leposaviq and Zubin Potok either the Serb community's vote in Serbia's elections, nor the recognition of documents and auto license plates, but only the recognition of Kosovo.
“We will be under much pressure, they will use and misuse the situation that Serbia has something to lose, so they put Albanians under sanctions that are not so serious and are actually blackmailing Serbia, because we have something to lose”, the Serbian president has declared at a news conference Sunday in Belgrade.
Vucic has reiterated that he will not sign the Base Agreement (Brussels, 27 February) and the Impulation Annex (Our, March 18th) for normalising relations, while adding that he has told “around 1000 times” EU representatives and leaders of Germany, France and Italy.
