The deputy head of this municipality, Alban Zogaj, has said the government is ignoring the capital's demands in this direction.
He has demanded that the budget be increased due to the large number of residents in the capital.
“Gradi from the Government has been the grant that constantly divides Pristina without any addition to the capital. So there's no extra cents but what's taken from him in law we've constantly asked the Government of Kosovo to help the capital, because it's not like any other municipality. Not wanting to do any underestimating, but the capital is the city where everyone gets services for a certain time, according to recent estimates, as well as World Bank assessments in the capital live about 400 thousand people a week, that means that Pristina provides services for many residents of the capital and Kosovo, but the budget has to be raised for the capital”, Zogaj said of Online Economy.
