Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky asked to pay a solidarity visit on the continuation of Hamas' attack in Israel, but it was told that “koha is not appropriate”, media report in Hebrew, The Times of Israel writes.
Zelensky stood up for Israel after the attack, saying the country had an unequivocal right to defend itself against attacks by Hamas terrorists.
“Terrori is always a crime, not only against a specific country or victims, but against humanity as a whole”, he said.
“Bota must remain united... so that terror does not attempt to take or destroy life anywhere and at any moment”, Zelensky said.
Israel has repeatedly voiced support for Ukraine since Russian forces invaded Ukraine in February last year, but has not offered military assistance, causing diplomatic tensions between Kiev and Jerusalem.
