His full post:
At the Forum of Interior Ministers, held today under the organisation of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of Europe and the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, we discussed combating violent extremism and terrorism, fighting narcotics in our societies, migration, asylum and integrated border management.
In my speech I stressed the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's commitment to fighting violent extremism and terrorism, especially in recognition of the fact that our institutions and our officials have, for more than two years, faced successive terrorist attacks on our country's north. Welcoming the European Parliament Resolution condemning the September 24th terrorist attack in Zvecan Banjska, where Sergeant Africa Bulnjak lost his life, I reiterated the importance of sanctioning Serbia as preventing such attacks from being repeated. I stressed that thanks to our Police's commitment and professionalism, on 24 September disaster was prevented and the lives of our citizens, other police officials, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our Republic were protected.
I presented our commitments as institutions in the field of drugs, migration, asylum and integrated border management as in terms of legislation which is in full accordance with EU directives, co-operation with the countries of the region in these and with EU agencies in these areas.
I reaffirmed our full readiness for co-operation and advancing policies aimed at security, peace and justice for our countries and our region.
