“We reaffirm our common commitment to stability in the Western Balkans and our support for the EU perspective of the region. All partners must continue to make the reforms necessary to progress on their European path. We stress the need for Kosovo* and Serbia to urgently de-proportionate tensions and implement the agreement swiftly and unconditionally on the road to normalising their relations and returning to the EU-launched dialogue”, It says in the communique.

This call from the EU and the US comes a few hours before the visit of five European emissaries, who will meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Pristina on Saturday morning.
