Special Prosecutor Raises Another Charge of Sexual Violence During War in Kosovo

The Special Prosecutor announces the indictment against the defendants with initials, Mr. V. It was set up because of the criminal acts of war against the civilian population by Article 142 of Yugoslavia's penal code (which was in force at the time of the criminal offence), currently incriminating as the Crime Against Humanity by Article 143 paragraph 1 under paragraph 1.7 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code.

This is the sixth indictment of the Special Prosecutor for Sexual Violence during the Kosovo war, of which two are in the presence of the defendant and four for trial in absentia.
