On 24 September in the village of Banjska of Zvecan, a group of armed men attacked the Kosovo Police, killing Sergeant Africa Bulnjak, an injured policeman and a wounded man. After the attack, terrorists entered the Banjsca monastery and continued shooting.
So far it has been confirmed that three of the attackers have been killed, while Minister Svecla has said they have indicators that their number is greater. Most attackers managed to flee the mountains and cross into Serbia.
The responsibility for the terrorist attack has been claimed by former Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radojicic.
