(3 years ago)Germany's Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, has said Friday, after the end of the European Union summit in Brussels that, at the meeting he had with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with other European leaders, Kurti has promised he would establish the Association of Serb Majorts. “We have made progress on this disturbing issue, I don't think at all like you”, Scholz said, thus responded to news agency “reporterReuters”, which he considered European leaders' talks with Kurti and Serbia President Aleksandar Vucic as a failure.
“If you assess it politically, you will agree with me”, the German Chancellor stressed.
Scholz suggested that both Kurti and Vucic have received promises that they will implement the Base Agreement (Brussels, February 27th, Ohrid, March 18th), adding that from Kurti “we have the promise that it will fulfil the association”.
“This has been clearly said”, confirmed.
