The head of the Albanian government said that in the north now the potential danger has increased year after year from criminal activity to the part where the Serb minority lives.
I'm very worried. We're always worried because it's a dangerous situation. Now it's at the point where year after year the potential risk has increased, it has increased. Criminal activity in that part where the Serb minority now lives mainly is fully compatible with the political agenda and with much nationalism”, Prime Minister Rama said.
Edi Rama said Albania is in full co-ordination with the European Union and the United States of America, while stressing that the need for Kosovo to move forward and be constructive in dialogue.
“We in all ways have been in full compliance with the EU and the US, and we need Kosovo authorities to move forward and be active and constructive in dialogue and take advantage of the case, and this is an important step forward and very good agreement for Kosovo and the region, but at the same time only the simple fact that Serbia declared an international mourning day to mourn the former criminal group that killed the police, was enough for the EU to say that this is not acceptable, and that is punishable of<1x>
The Albanian prime minister stressed that before it is too late, measures must be taken for Serbia.
“War is a very big word, but before it's too late, the measures have to be taken, and we're following the situation closely, and it's important that he wants inside. NATO to strengthen KFOR's mission in the north. We strongly hope that the dialogue will continue or resume”, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama told reporters in Granada.
