President Vjosa Osmani at the joint media conference with Croatian counterpart Zoran Milanovic has sought Serbia's punishment for the act of aggression against Kosovo and said security should be increased on the border with Serbia.
We also expect Croatia's continued support in the face of this serious security challenge, which would destabilise Kosovo not only, but may have far broader consequences. Your contribution and all of Croatia's institutions is central to preserving peace and stability in our region. Following the act of aggression on September 24th, the focus should be on putting all authors of this act to the justice of the Republic of Kosovo. Taking strong security guarantees, especially to preserve the border between Kosovo and Serbia and containing Serbia, sanctioning Serbia for its actions as a precautionary measure for further attacks in the future”.
Osmani in Zagreb warned that Serbia's impunity could bring new attacks on Kosovo.
“If Serbia were to take measures from the Euro-Atlantic community, it would feel more powerful and encouraged by impunity”.
President Osmani also in Croatia said she has been proven by all evidence collected from the north following the attack that Serbia's goal is to annexe the north
