At today's Appeal session, during his statement Salih Mustafa has said he feels innocent of the acts for which he was sentenced by the Special Court.
In his statement, Mustafa said he feels morally even virtually innocent even though the court has legally declared him innocent.
I had to say that even virtually even the innocent ninja even though the court legally found me guilty, because I am convinced that absolutely no deed for what the prosecution ordered for three years has been consumed by”, Mustafa said.
He said he's sure that the Special Prosecutor's Office knows correctly it's not like that and that the reality of how it happened during 1999 is different.
“I'm pretty sure the prosecution has all the evidence, and you know exactly it's not, and not even one percent of the reality that happened during 1999, Mustafa said.
He expressed confidence that the prosecution deliberately placed all the arguments below.
“I am convinced that the prosecution deliberately placed all arguments on the bottom, not seeing them from the initial statements of the prosecution's own witnesses until the court's decision is taken, Mustafa said.
On the other hand, Mustafa said he believes in justice and that there is nothing else to add.
So I don't have anything else. I trust you. I'm pretty sure that I'm morally and practically innocent”.
