The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has participated in the Humanist Party Annual Conference in Great Britain.
He has said Kosovo's future and present cannot be held hostage by Serbia.
However, Kurti stressed that Kosovo's present “and future, as well as Europe's peace and security cannot be held hostage by Serbia, and that prospects for peace, justice, and prosperity at a full time depend on what we choose to do and how we choose to act together”.
During this speech, Kurti, among other things, has said the Labusist Party's influence on Kosovo's fate has been important and great.
He has said that two of the most important moments in Kosovo's recent history are in 1999 and 2008, “liberation, respectively, independence, during which the Labusist Party was in power in the United Kingdom”.
“In 1999, under the leadership of Tony Blair, the United Kingdom was part of NATO military intervention, to prevent the continuation of the genocide campaign by Serbian forces... then in February 2008, shortly after the declaration of independence, the United Kingdom, with Gordon Brown as prime minister, was one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo citizenship”, Kurti said.
