Kosovo's current Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has been prescribed criminal acts “Pegim of official persons” in the trial of dropping tear gas in the Assembly.
The indictment reportedly at the Kosovo Assembly session of August 10th 2016, in the deputy's quality, Glauk Konjufca has thrown tear gas into the hall, with what cases it has been unable to stay in the hall, reports the “Justice Trust”.
For these actions, Konjufca is charged with two criminal acts “Using weapons” and “Pestim of the official person while performing official tasks”.
However, at Wednesday's hearing, in his trial, the case judge Edita Canta indicated that there are circumstances that prevent prosecution for the second point of indictment, that is, for criminal work “Pegim of the official person during the performance of official duties”.
“Since this criminal offense was set before a prison sentence of 3 months to 3 years and prosecution of this work began on August 10th 2016 and since this time passed double the prosecution, the court will receive a conviction at the end of this trial for this constitutional investigation of”, Judge Canta said.
In this regard, prosecutor Besart Mustafa did not have any comments.
