Government media official in Gaza has said Thursday that Hamas-led National Security Forces Commander General Jihad Muheisen has been killed as a result of an Israeli attack on his home in Gaza City, along with several family members.
Still not known how many of his family members were killed in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood north of Gaza City.
The National Security Force is a paramilitary organisation in Gaza, which is led by Hamas in 2007.
Partaras, Hamas officials have told the Associated Press news agency that the member of Hamas' legal council, Jamila al-Santi, has been killed as a result of Israeli attacks Thursday.
She is known as the first woman elected to political standing within the Hamas group, and is the widow of one of the founders of the Islamist movement.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 3,785 people have been killed as a result of Israel's bombing.
Israel attacks the Gaza Strip, the crowded enclave in the Mediterranean Sea, by massacres committed by Hamas warriors on the Israeli border, and at a music festival on October 7th, leaving more than 1,400 people killed, most of them Israeli civilians.
According to the Israeli army, Hamas also has 203 Israeli hostages, sent to Gaza, including foreign citizens.
The situation in Gaza with 2 million people is considered serious.
It is located on the border with Israel in the north and east and Egypt in the south.
