Gervailla: War will be war if internationals tolerate Serbia

Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovalla has warned war if, as she has said, the international community continues the same approach to Serbia.

Gervala told the German public media, Deutschlandfunk that Serbia wants to force Kosovo to negotiate on territorial issues in dialogue.

“If the international community tolerates Serbia's actions, there will be war”, she said.

Serbia wants to create facts to force Kosovo to negotiate territorial issues in Brussels. Gervala says the EU must freeze Serbia's status as a candidate country.

The Gervala statements come a week after the armed attack in the north, where one Kosovo police officer was killed and police later had to eliminate three terrorists. Now, NATO will increase its presence in Kosovo.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani recently said Serbia continues to have territorial claims on Kosovo. The government in Belgrade is attempting to implement a <x0-model of the Crime”, she said, alluding to the 2014 annex from Russia to Ukraine.
