Armed Old Man Takes Hosts in the Post Office

An unknown number of people are being held hostage inside a post office in Warabi, Japan, by an armed person.

Police officers dressed in vested vests surrounded the post office after reports of shooting near a nearby hospital, where two people were injured.

A doctor in his 40s and a patient in his 60s were easily injured by hospital shooting.

At approximately 14:15 this afternoon, a person took hostages and was isolated at a post office in the Chuo area of Warabi City. The author owns what appears to be a” weapon, said a police report.

The kidnapper is allegedly a man in his 80 ' s. He was seen wearing a baseball hat and a white shirt under a dark coat, with what looked like a gun tied to a cord around his neck.

Local media report that at least two mail workers, aged 20 and 30, were taken hostage, while a Japanese newspaper reported that we could have as many as 10 hostages.

The hijacker is also suspected of possessing wax or oil, which can be used to ignite fire. / A2 CNN
