The 54-month prison sentence for “Burdusin” remains in force

The sentenced to four years and six months in prison, Hysri Peqani, known as “Burdushi”, has exhausted all legal opportunities to counter his sentence.

Thus, on October 10th, even the Supreme Court has refused the request for protection of the legality exercised by the defense of “Burdushi” against decisions in the first and second degree.

The Supreme Court has found that in the concrete case, there is no overcoming the indictment as it comes to the same events and actions.

The Supreme also found that there has been no violation of the case of the court's declaration of justice, since the stated act of judgment has been compiled in harmony with all its parts involved in the seizure, respectively, the release of inconsistencies.

Hysri Peqani was sentenced on 4 years and 6 months in prison on January 10th 2023 for illegal criminal acts of medical or pharmaceutical activity, fraud, money laundering and illegal weapons. On June 30th, the Court of Appeals had confirmed the sentence to “Burdushi”.

Meanwhile, the Supreme One had rejected “Burdushi” as both unacceptable and the request for the protection of legitimacy for delaying the execution of prison sentences.

The “Justice Vow” had reported how “Burdushi”, despite the decision of the form, continues to stay at home and not appear for prison sentences.
