But this MPJD has called Serbia's media destructive campaign, which it says should give up aggressive attacks on Kosovo.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo reports that there is no announcement in the MPJD, nor in the missions of the Republic of Kosovo, about yesterday's claims that some states have drawn recognition”.
MPJD says such a claim has not been confirmed either after personal conversations with representatives at different levels of these states, but not after consulting with the important partners of our country.
The open issues between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia are resolved with dialogue, rather than with the media-destructive campaign. Serbia must urgently give up aggressive attacks on Kosovo and its sovereignty and return the negotiating table with the centre-based mutual recognition”.
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, at the annual conference to the Serbian people, claimed nine states have already drawn recognition of Kosovo's independence.
We have nine countries that have attracted recognition, we expect the tenth of”, Vuciq said.
States that have drawn recognition, according to Vucic's claims are Somalia, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Esatini, Libya, Guinea, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia of Maldive.
