With a 15-point sentence and a completely new board of directors, Massimiliano Allegri is increasingly the only solid figure in Juventus.
President Andrea Agnelli, Deputy Chairman Pavel Nedved and others have all left, so Alleggri has more responsibility than ever, not only as a coach, but also taking some other role.
By “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, owner of the John Elkan club, believes the 55-year-old can help lead them in the future and is ready to extend the contract by June 2027.
Allegri's current contract with the “Old Lady” expires on June 30th 2025.
It's a complete change of direction from just a few months ago, when it seemed as if the only reason Juvenus had not dismissed Allegrin was because his contract lasted until June 2025 and would cost a large sum to break the contract prematurely.
This is already the second stay of 55-year-old in Turin, after winning five successive Serie A titles from 2014 to 2019.
