Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has spoken at the memorial academy on the 24th anniversary of Recak's Massacre.
He said that those who deny genocide dream of his repetition.
Kurti went on to say that such a crime cannot be concealed or housed.
Those who deny genocide, they dream of repeating it. But, a crime against humanity -- of a genocide like the one who committed Serbia's forces in Recak on January 15th -- cannot be concealed, could not be clouded and can't be amnistered”, he said.
He said international arrests have been issued for 18 Serb persons suspected of involvement in the conduct of the Recak massacre.
“Calling the timely evidence in the statements of 63 witnesses interviewed and in The Hague Tributal evidence, the Kosovo Special Prosecutor has issued international warrants for 18 Serb persons suspected of involvement in the conduct of the Recak massacre”, he said.
In addition, Kurti said that our country does not house criminals and do not forget war crimes, follows Clankosova.tv.
On today's 24th anniversary of the massacre of 45 Albanians by Serbia's forces in Recak, while remembering and honoring all victims of that dark time, let me see that before you, from the position of prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, I tell you that our democratic state does not house criminals and does not forget war crimes.
