Referring to a well worded commemoration statement for former Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic by Prime Minister Kurti, Bekim Blakaj from the Fund for Humanitarian Law, has said Kosovo's prime minister should not praise those convicted of war crimes.
Speaking on the Pressing show, Blakay said Kurt's statement was a pity.
The “is really sorry, unacceptable, not only for family members, but for us as a civil society, I believe for the whole society that the country's prime minister praised someone who has been convicted to the first degree for war crimes and has become retrial”, he said.
Blakaj has stated that this is the principle not only in Ivanovic's case, but for anyone who has been under trial for war crimes.
And I mean that in principle, not only for Ivanoviqi, but anyone who has been in court as accused of war crimes -- Albanian or Serbian -- should not be praised by state representatives and not by Prime Minister”, he said.
“Explore my dissatisfaction with this statement”, Behrani has continued.
In the end, Behrani has said that the situation at this point has resulted from a large number of factors.
