Afghan colleagues were welcomed to the airport by AGK Board Chairman Xhemajl Rexha, AGK Executive Director Getoarba Mulliqi Bojaj, EPCPMF Legal Officer Buttertore Kusari, MPB representative, Noceci Concert and Kosovo Police Officials.
Afghan journalists were welcomed a month after the Government's decision to house them in Kosovo. Journalists will be provided housing, monthly wages, health insurance, and return ticket when circumstances arise to return to their homes.
The program “Journalists in Residence Kosovo”, initiated by the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom E The CPMF, which is funded by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, for Ukrainian and Afghan journalists is also generously supported by Hannah Arendt Initiative.
