According to Gorob, this news has started the SDS party before the elections in Slovenia. But according to him, it was later found that Berisha is the personal friend of Janez Jansha, the SDS chairman.
You know who started this. This is what the SDS party started before our elections. At that time they said they financed my campaign and me. But then we discovered that Berisha, by the way, is ambassador to Zagreb, is Janez Jansha's personal friend. And at that moment, the thing from Slovenia disappeared. Now he was resurrected, apparently in Kosovo, probably from friends, enemies, I have no idea”, Golub has said of a Slovenian television.
“So you deny this if I understand you correctly?”, the Slovenian prime minister asked, as he answers: “This is all pure fiction”.
Otherwise, in April of last year, Berisha was accused by Slovenian media of being involved in a money laundering scandal in Slovenia. According to those reports, Ambassador Berisha's company, “MB Consulting” has received 600 euros, which it has gradually released in cash allegedly returned to Golub. Berisha had denied the accusations, countering the indictments against rapporteurs.
