Zelensky discussed plans to free territories occupied by Russia, with the Supreme Military Commander of Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine is continuing to supply its troops with weapons and other ammunition.
Following false referenda held in the four regions of Ukraine, Kremlin suggested President Putin would sign a law on their annexation.
spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the administrators of the Moscow-appointed regions would sign treaties to become part of the Russian Federation.
According to Russian officials, the four regions, which represent about 15% of Ukraine, voted overwhelmingly to join Russia.
These regions form an important land belt between Russia and the Crime Peninsula, which Moscow illegally annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
