Price noted that sanctions are “an important tool” to deal with corruption in the Western Balkans.
“Sanctions will remain an important tool, not the only means, but an important tool when it comes to the region and when it comes to our purpose, the purpose we share with governments and people in the region for rooting out corruption”, he added.
The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on Bosnia and Herzegovina State Prosecutor Diana Kaymakovic.
The American Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina has said that it is time for “Bosnia to clear its” house.
