Vuciq: Unknown to Russia's referenda in Ukraine

Vuciq said he does so because it is in Serbia's interest to defend the territorial integrity of internationally recognised states, as even “is defending territorial integrity”.
Serbia will not recognise those referenda, as it adheres to international law, the UN Charter and UN resolutions. We are defending our territorial integrity and it is in our best interest to protect the territorial integrity of other internationally recognised countries”, Vuciq told reporters.
Serbia, a candidate for membership in the European Union, depends on Russia for natural gas supplies and has refused to join Western sanctions against Moscow for its actions in Ukraine, DW reports.
